Due to some recent changes that will be going into effect at some point, it is necessary to kind of shuffle a few things as far as the guild bank is concerned. First off, availability based on rank is NOT changing. Bank 1 is still open to all, Bank 2 is open to Initiate and above, Bank 3 is open to Junior Member and above, and Bank 4 is open to Member and above. However, since our guild is growing so rapidly, it's time to make some tiny changes to ensure bank security. As I'm sure you've noticed, I put explanations on each bank. I have since changed them to clarify things a bit better so you'll want to take a quick gander at those, but most of it will be explained here. Previously, I was putting some cash in Bank 1 so that guildies would have some cash to grab if they needed something. For added security, this stash of cash is getting moved to Bank 2 so that you must be at least an Initiate to take cash. Also I have mentioned in Bank 4 tag that it will hold our main guild funds. To better clarify, these funds are NOT for guildy use w/out permission. They are for guild hall, guild hall amenities, spell orders, and things like that. You MUST have permission to take any of that cash. Really that's all that's being changed so far in the banking department. Keep in mind that whatever you place in guild bank, especially Bank 1, can be yoinked by fellow guildies if they have high enough rank. This is more important for Bank 1, since it's available to ALL members, including Recruits. It is your responsibility to be sure you place your things in the appropriate bank and to take things that are transferred to you out in a timely manner. Also, if you order something and it is placed in guild bank...be sure to get it as soon as you can. While it sits there, it's taking up valuable space and it is vulnerable to guildy yoinkage. And if it's left there long enough, I shall take appropriate measures...either by removing it and mailing it to you (if I am aware of who it goes to) or I will sell it for guild funds. If you are not aware, I will make it known to you now. There is a bank log for each bank. It logs every action taken separately per bank. I, obviously, have access to this log, as do most people I believe. So be wise in how you use the guild bank, be courteous, be smart. I will be doing a cursory scan of bank log everytime I log on, every day or so, and I will know your every action. If there are any more changes to bank, I will let you know in this thread as it develops. I'll be watching. ;D Your Guild Banker, Chiel

Update to recent changes: When I said bank access based on rank wouldn't change, I sort of lied. But only in a minor way! The ranks involved for gaining access to certain banks has changed, that's all. This is all subject to change over the next few weeks of course, but you all should have received guild email regarding why. For now, here is how it stands: Bank 1: Still recruit and above access, this bank hasn't changed. Bank 2: Hasn't changed, still Initiate and above, still has free-for-all guild funds and such. Bank 3: Major change is mostly removal of all common materials. Do NOT put common materials in this bank anymore please, we now have the Harvesting Supply Depot, located in Guild Hall near tradeskill stations. Still Junior Member and above. Bank 4: Only change here is access. Regular Members will no longer have access to this bank. It is Officer and above only, and you must ask an Officer for an item you see in there that you need. Of course, Member rank and above may still deposit, but Members just can't withdraw anymore without permission. Sorry for this inconvenience. Now, regarding the email I sent out about the harvesting depot...I made a minor mistake in my explanation of the check box on tradeskill station window. I said that in order to use depot resources you had to check the box. This is NOT TRUE, I messed up. If you wish to use guild resources from depot, do not check box, leave it alone. If you wish to use your own materials, check the box. Everything else, as far as I know, is correct in guild email and was tested by Dhovanna and Xasarisi (both are Ricky alts ). Will update as I make more changes, thank you all for your infinite patience.

Ok, major changes have been made to guild bank, including arrangement of items and permissions by rank. This is due to a need for security for all our items and to reflect the changes being made to how you gain rank in the guild. Phantomessa, our fearless leader, will be making sure rank changes are explained as soon as is possible. I apologize for any inconviences this may cause. I also apologize that I said rank permissions wouldn't change when in fact they did, but it's only to reflect other changes and add more security. Bank Name Changes: All banks, except Bank 4, have had their names changed. They are named based on which rank you must be to withdraw (not deposit, that will be explained below per bank). It was easiest way to rename them based on contents. I have tried to put explanations on each bank as to what we want in there, although Bank 2 is still under construction and Bank 1 is quickly getting filled. Bank 1: Initiate Bank - Recruits can no longer withdraw but may deposit, all other ranks have full access. This bank holds funds that may be used by any guild member, regardless of rank. Recruits who require items or cash may request from higher ranked members, and any transfers needing to be done involving Recruits may be done now in Guild Hall or via in-game mail. The items we want in this bank are simple. Anything that is requested often, such as collectibles, L&L pieces, or Adept I spells. I still request that only expensive ones be placed in here as we will run out of room very fast, and in order to make sure there is room for everything I will be removing cheap items that you can easily find on broker. Bank 2: Junior Member Bank- Recruit rank has no access, Initiate and above may deposit, and only Junior Member and above may withdraw. For now this bank is used for holding items we can't fit in Bank 1. Will give updates on changes as always. Bank 3: Member Bank- Recruit and Initiate ranks have no access, Junior Member and above may deposit, but only Members and above can withdraw. This bank will hold items that are difficult to obtain and are expensive, things we trust full members with. This is no way reflects our view of lower ranked members as we appreciate you all, and gaining rank will be explained by Phantomessa at the earliest opportunity, and it's not all that difficult. Bank 4: High Access Bank- Only Officer and above have full access to this bank, and only Member and above may deposit. The specifics of this bank's contents have not changed. As always, if you see something you want or need and do not have access to retrieve it, ask someone of proper rank. You will notice we no longer have a Tradeskill Bank. This is to reflect that we wish members to use our new Harvesting Supply Depot, located in tradeskill area of Guild Hall, for common materials used in crafting. NO imbue materials, NO dusts from crafting Adept III spells, only common materials please. The rest goes in guild bank if you wish to give. Keep in mind that donating to guild bank is a personal choice and no one will be looked down upon for not giving. We appreciate donations and welcome them, but in order to keep things orderly, we do request that you don't fill it up too fast. We want all members to have room to give and take. Also, if need be, I will be removing anything from bank that does not belong there, or that we do not have room for. I will try to refrain from doing this often, but anything removed will be refunded to bank as cash for guild funds. I also reserve the right to move things to proper banks. I will personally replace anything I take out that you needed, as I am not psychic and might make mistakes. Thank you to everyone who has helped me in this, you have saved me from pulling out all my hair! ;D As always, when changes happen, I'll let you know here. Thank you! Chiel

Guess what? The Guild Bank is finished! Now we get to see how it runs. Here is a rundown of things I want in each bank if you decide to donate, and I will be slightly lenient for a time on which bank they show up in...at least until you all get used to where they belong, and based on the fact that not all ranks can deposit in all banks. Bank 1: Commonly used items and common-crafted items. If you are skilling a tradeskill and make some common-crafted stuff you want to give to guildies, by all means throw it in here. I'll keep it in there, as space allows, for a while. If it doesn't get used I will either ask you to remove it or do it myself. Funds obtained from selling them will go in Bank 1. Totems, containers...these are things we will try, as a guild, to make sure are available for people on a limited basis. Bank 2: Dropped items, since they are harder to get. Recipe books, Adept I spells, equipment. Cash that shows up in here is considered tradeskilling funds, and you may use them to buy your recipe books if you need some we don't have. Bank 3: Expensive and difficult-to-obtain items, like special crafting materials (dusts, imbue), collectibles, Lore & Legend pieces, and the like. Now, see what I said there? "Expensive" is the key word. I really want to make sure that things that are found easily on broker for small cash don't show up here. We want to make available things guildies don't want to have to buy. As always, you do not absolutely have to give if you don't wish to, and we won't think you greedy for preferring to sell them yourself. Bank 4: This bank has no need to change it's contents. We still want all rares put here, we still want Master I spells here. We will still be using this for storage for things made for guidies and really difficult to get dropped/crafted equipment. Thank you all for your patience while I got this set up and enjoy your new bank! If you have concerns or issues, you can always contact me in-game via mail, or here on website. Chiel

Thank you, Raetear. But I must admit it has not only been my patience, but also the patience of the entire guild (some of who helped me here and there) that made this possible. *cheer*
